Strength of SCS vs 100 Model

    Hi,

I am renting an Alpha Stim SCS to try. I have tried the SCS for 3 weeks now all the way up to the max of 5 and I feel nothing at all.  I have tried my therapists Alpha Stim 100 3 times and I feel sensations in my ears and brain at a setting of 2 and can't tollerate 3 more than a few minutes without getting a head ache.

Are the setting different between the 2 models?

The ideal current range for CES is below 500 microamperes; in the 100 – 350 range. At that level the output from both devices are identical. Check to make sure you are using a fresh battery and that the ear clip plug is pushed all the way in to the jack, flush against the side of the device. If it is not, push hard until it snaps. If that doesn’t work please contact us for further assistance or warranty service.

    Thank you,
