Barbara J. Tibbets

Barbara J. Tibbets has 29 years of varied experience in the business world. Ms. Tibbets enjoys expertise as a full charge bookkeeper familiar with a host of applicable computer software programs Ms. Tibbets also holds a Texas real estate license and is a certified notary public.

Over the span of her professional career, Ms. Tibbets developed expertise in the field of public relations, office and operations management, and worked directly with attorneys and certified public accounts. She has served as Vice President and President of a corporation in the consulting field of engineering, working directly with clients throughout the United States and Europe and was a copartner in the business of commercial/industrial real estate.

Educated at the University of Texas at Arlington as both a business major and in the real estate school, Ms. Tibbets came to Electromedical Products International, Inc., in April of 1994 and quickly distinguished herself as a well-rounded professional with expertise in accounting principles, as well as supervision of a variety of departments including customer service, quality assurance, shipping and receiving.

Ms. Tibbets is the former co-owner of Tibbets & Associates, a commercial and industrial real estate firm in Perrin, Texas. She has worked for other real estate firms like Century 21 in Mineral Wells, Texas, Texas Southwest Commercial Brokerage in Arlington, and McDeavitt Investments and Management in Arlington. Additionally, Ms. Tibbets was co-owner of Transmission Consultants, Inc., of Arlington, which was involved in consulting work in the field of mechanical powered transmission systems. Previously, Ms. Tibbets served as supervisor and loan processor of interim financing at the Arlington Savings Association.

She has long been active with the Business and Professional Women's Association, is a member of the National Notary Association, the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and is a past president of Professional Secretaries International.

A native Texan, raised in Houston and a Dallas/Fort Worth resident for many years, Ms. Tibbets now resides in Mineral Wells. She enjoys a close family with three adult children and six grandchildren. Her hobbies include cross stitching, bowling, golfing and dancing.
