“A New Lease on Life”: Alpha-Stim Brings Relief to Veteran After Years of Suffering

Recently, we received a heartfelt letter from veteran Katjia Bagnell recounting her struggles with pain, anxiety, insomnia, and depression* that resulted from combat-related injuries. Though it was heartbreaking to hear that she suffered for so long, we were elated to hear that she has now found relief with her Alpha-Stim M.

In her own words, here is her story:

“My name is Katjia Bagnell and I’m an American Veteran of foreign and American wars. I was injured and I have been in pain from the top of my head to the bottom of my toes. For several years, I’ve been in and out of wheelchairs and walkers.

I have severe bilateral damage to my SI joints, hips, and pelvic region. I have cervical, shoulder, and cranial damage, and traumatic brain injury. I have seizures. I have fatigue, depression, panic disorder, and anxiety disorder.

I have pain constantly – 24/7.

At 49 years old, I went to my doctor. It was either put a bullet in my head or go on pain medication after refusing it for a very long time. And I told her I wanted to go on pain medication.

She came up with the Alpha-Stim M as a solution. Within three weeks, I was out of the wheelchair. I’m sleeping through the night. I can manage the pain. I feel like I have enough energy to walk around and not feel like I’m dying.

For my panic disorder and my anxiety disorder, which I was on [medication] for, I no longer take the medication.

I plan on getting off the antidepressants when I see my psychiatrist, as my depression has disappeared. Due to the Alpha-Stim, my affect has improved 100% and my pain which was over a 10 on a daily basis has gone down to zero.
