Does Alpha-Stim Help with Neuropathy?

While Alpha-Stim is not FDA-cleared to treat the underlying cause of neuropathy, it is FDA-cleared to treat acute, post-traumatic, and chronic pain in adults regardless of source. This means that although Alpha-Stim does not address the nerve damage itself, it can be used as part of a broader management plan to help reduce the pain associated with neuropathy.
How Alpha-Stim Helps Manage Pain
The Alpha-Stim M model manages pain associated with neuropathy by delivering microcurrent electrical therapy (MET) using either Smart Probes for short, targeted sessions (often under 5 minutes per area) or AS-Trode self-adhesive electrodes (the patches you can apply to the area of pain) that can be worn for longer durations.
Alpha-Stim M changes how pain signals are processed in both the peripheral and central nervous systems, which can help many patients experience meaningful relief from the pain component of neuropathy.
